Mum's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies!

One of my all time favourite things, was coming home from school and finding out that mum had made chocolate chip cookies. I would try and eat a hundred of them if I could but mum would always stop me. There is nothing better that dipping those cookies in some milk
The recipe is super easy and makes a heap, well that's if you're not like me and don't eat half that batter before you bake it!
To start off add the butter, sugar, vanilla, orange zest and orange rind together and beat together till creamy. Add flour, choc chips and mix with wooden spoon.
Use a teaspoon to roll balls of dough, place on baking tray and press down to flatten.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until they're golden brown.
Recipe
1/2 Cup Butter (125g)
1/4 Cup Caster Sugar
1/2 Cup lightly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Essence
1 1/2 Tsp finely grated orange rind
1 1/2 Tsp Orange juice
2 Cups Self raising flour
3/4 Cup Choc chips
1. Preheat oven to 190c
2. Cream together butter, sugars, vanilla, orange rind and orange juice until light and fluffy.
3. Add in sifted flour, choc chips and mix together with a wooden spoon.
4. Using a teaspoon, roll dough into balls and place 3cm away from each other on a baking tray. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
